What We Leave Behind Matters

In one form or another, pretty much all petrochemical based plastic made over the last 50 years still exists. Whether it is recycled, finds its way to landfill or indeed if plastic is disposed of irresponsibly it will remain with us for a very long time.

Approximately 250 million tonnes of plastic is consumed annually making the plastic industry the largest market for crude oil outside the energy sector.

In recognition of these issues Littlefoot Bioplastics ltd was established to enable the use of bioplastic materials that are made from renewable resources and are compostable. So as these materials are composted they break down leaving beneficial compost that improves soil quality.

When we consider societies impact on the environment, it is usually in a negative context. Littlefoot seeks to change that perception. By encouraging and enabling business, industry and consumers to make the responsible choice as it relates to their plastic needs.

The alternative is sustainable. The alternative is environmentally friendly.

The choice is yours!
